Media - we're changing for the better!
Starting with Ryucon 2026, we are introducing new rules for media accreditation. From now on, there will be three types of media accreditation: Photo, Press, and Content Creator.

Photo
Benefits:
- Media accreditation valid for all 3 days of the convention, with early access to the venue (30 minutes before the gates open)
- Official event photographer status
- Contract with the organizers
- Access to the Media Zone (cloakroom, chill room, drinks and refreshments)
- Limited number of accreditations
Requirements:
- 18+ years old
- Submission of a portfolio with your application
- Compliance with the terms of the agreement (timely communication and delivery of the photo coverage)
Category
Press
Benefits:
- Media accreditation valid for all 3 days of the convention
- Official media partner status
- Access to the Media Zone (cloakroom, chill room, drinks and refreshments), as well as rehearsals and backstage
- Welcome pack
- Priority access to attractions and reserved seating during concerts, cosplay competitions, and guest panels
- Opportunity to conduct interviews
- Limited number of accreditations
- Creative freedom - we welcome both praise and constructive criticism
- Tickets for your audience/fans
Requirements:
- 18+ years old
- Coverage of Ryucon in text, photo, and/or video format
- Submission of a portfolio (e.g. sample articles) with your application
- Proof of publication of the event coverage

Content Creator
Benefits:
- Media accreditation valid for all 3 days of the convention
- Discounts at selected convention booths
- Access to the Media Zone (cloakroom, chill room, drinks and refreshments), as well as rehearsals and backstage
- Welcome pack
- Priority access to attractions and reserved seating during concerts, cosplay competitions, and guest panels
- Opportunity to conduct interviews
- Limited number of accreditations
- Creative freedom - we welcome both praise and constructive criticism
- Tickets for your audience/fans
Requirements:
- 16+ years old
- Coverage of Ryucon in text, photo, and/or video format
- Submission of your social media profiles with the application
- Proof of publication of the event coverage
Important Information
Submitting an application through the official form is the basic requirement for receiving media accreditation. Please note that not all applications will be accepted. The organizers reserve the right to refuse media accreditation without providing a reason.
Examples of reasons for refusal may include:
- A portfolio that does not match the profile or needs of the event
- Private accounts or accounts with very limited reach
- Social media promoting racist, hateful, or otherwise offensive content
- Previous cooperation that did not meet the agreed requirements
